Through the example of his company he demonstrated various PJM methods to improve work efficiency and service quality. One of the key ideas in Terry Boston report is that there is no disadvantages, all critical situations are the result of delayed or poorly informed decisions and to minimize these situations CIGRE work is invaluable.
International Council on large high voltage electric systems CIGRE today is one of the most authoritative scientific and technical associations that brings together scientists and engineers from all over the world and has a strong influence on the shaping of industry development strategy in many countries.
In order to coordinate research, exchange of experience and scientific and technical information on the operation of electric power systems the organization conducts a variety of activities, organizing interaction between major and reputable experts to formulate common approaches in addressing the most pressing issues. Traditionally, the focus is on the development, establishment and operation of high-voltage equipment, the planning and operation of power systems, design and implementation of new technologies for collecting and processing information and control systems.
CIGRE sessions, traditionally convened every two years in Paris, the home of the Organization, are significant milestones, summarized results of previous activities, define the vectors of further development of the power industry.
45 Session and technical exhibition work will last until the end of the week.
