    JSC Russian Grids became the general partner of the new special edition of the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution”

    The largest Russian power grid company Russian Grids supported the initiative of the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” to make a special English edition to be distributed among participants of 45th CIGRE session, which will take place August 25–29 of this year in Paris, and visitors of the technical exhibition, held on the occasion of this event.

    The special edition will introduce foreign specialists to the latest achievements and developments of Russian power and engineering companies.

    Director General of JSC Russian Grids Oleg Budargin stated in his welcoming address: “We hope that this information will let foreign colleagues understand the potential and opportunities of Russian power grids fully and clearly, and will contribute to development and extensive use of a uniform technical policy in the field of building modern highly efficient energy systems”.

    The magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” will attend the technical exhibition as part of the joint Russian exposition being the General media partner. In addition, edition leaders will make reports within the framework of the plenary discussion of the first work day of the Russian section, organized by FSBO “REA” of the Ministry of Energy of Russia during the CIGRE session on the issue “Partnership in the Field of Technology and Integration of Russian Power Engineering in Technological Globalization Processes”.

    For reference:

    45th CIGRE session is expected to bring together 7000 participants and to include 370 various events and 16 poster sessions in the period of 6 days; more than 200 exhibitors will demonstrate their achievements at the exhibition with the total area of 8350 m2. CIGRE technical meetings will be dedicated to the following topics.
