A regular meeting of the editorial board of the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” took place at WELC-2011
On October 4–5 Moscow hosted the WORLD ELECTROTECHNICAL CONGRESS (WELC-2011), one of the organizers of the event was the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution”. Assistance rendered by the magazine during the arrangement of the WELC-2011 events, informing and involving world-level specialists into participating in the congress were highly appreciated by the organizing committee of the forum.
During the congress there was a meeting of the editorial board of the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution”. It discussed results of their work in 2011 and prospects for the future.
During one year, with the circulation of 15 thousand copies, the magazine participated in more than 100 industry exhibitions and seminars, printed more than 1000 information pages on issues related to electric energy. The publication has powerful support in the Internet – the portal RusCable.Ru is daily visited by 20 thousand people.
Members of the editorial board had an opportunity to come up with their suggestions outlining their opinions concerning further prospects of development of the publication. One of the publication’s partners is information agency RosBusinessConsulting, the general director of which is V. Masenkov, a member of the editorial board. He confirmed participation of the agency to be an active information support of the magazine and suggested, among other things, developing the e-version of the edition in a more vigorous way.
